Violet Jade gets everyone to join in the Spiral Dance by saying:

"Go we now to the sacred place
And stand within the sacred space
Turn your minds to sacred things
And dance with me unto the ring"

Group does Spiral Dance at first circle, then moves over bridge to the second circle and as they are forming the circle Violet Jade says:

"Come we forth, with the Spiral Dance
Within the Lady's radiance
To mark the turning of the year
The door to winter now is here"

Wait until everyone is situated and say:

"Earth and Water, Fire and Air
I invoke the Goddess there!
This night we are between the worlds
To celebrate the year unfurled!"

I invoke the God on high
This night we are between the worlds
To celebrate the year unfurled!"

Quarter Calls begin with East. The person lights the candle and then calls their quarter by reading the card they have each been given.

East: "O Guardians of the Eastern Tower
Airy ones of healing power
I do summon, stir and call you
See these rites and guard this circle"

"Come to us and heed our call!
By the power that made us all
By the power that blesses thee
Come to us, and Blessed Be!"

South: "Oh fiery ones of Southern Power
Thus I invite you to this tower
I do summon, stir and call you
See these rites and guard this circle!"

"Come to us and heed our call
By the power that made us all
By the power that blesses thee
Come to us, and Blessed Be!"

West: "Western ones of water's flow
Help to guard us here below
I do summon, stir and call you
See these rites and guard this circle!"

North: "Earthen ones of Northern fame
Bless and guard our Power's fane
I do summon, stir and call you

Violet Jade begins to tell the reason we have all gathered here:

"We come together tonight to celebrate the eighth Sabbat of the year .Samhain. This is the time of the 3rd and final harvest. It also marks the new year for many. On the night of Samhain it is said that the veil between the worlds is thinnest. We remember and honor our ancestors and we celebrate the cycle of life, death and rebirth. We have gathered here to celebrate this Sabbat. We will toast our ancestors, celebrate the harvest and remember the cycle of the year and the cycle of life. So I toast (holds up glass) and I drink to the year passed, the year new and to the guides of the other realm. I also toast to all of you. May you never thirst."

Passes the glass to the left and kisses person on cheek. This continues around the circle until it reaches Violet Jade again and then it is time for the ancestor's toast.

While this is happening Cheron is taking each person to meet the Oracle where they will find Kari. When they ask the oracle a question she will point them to the one person besides her that can answer .the mirror.

After the wine has made it's first circle Violet Jade describes what the next pass will be:

"I wish to pass this wine among us so that we may drink to the memories of a past ancestor or friend. One who has left an impression on our life that we will never forget. I wish to drink to my Great Aunt Grace. She left this world just last year. She was a strong woman and never a negative word came from her mouth. My mother believes Grace stayed with her for several months after she died to ensure my mother's happiness and strong will. I drink to Grace, my great aunt."

Pass to the left (Deosil).

The wine makes it back to Violet Jade and another circle will be made with it. This time we will drink to another person we wish to remember. It can be a stranger or a group such as Army, Police, etc.

The wine makes as many circles as necessary until all people have roses.

Then the dismissal:

"The time has come to depart. We have toasted our ancestors and together we have remembered ones who have left this life. We have each been on a journey and met the one person who could answer any questions we may have for the coming year. We have celebrated the cycle of life, death and rebirth. The final spoke in our year is here and we look forward to the years to come."

"Thus I release the East and West" (these quarters pinch out their candles)
"Thanks to them from Host to Guest"
"Thus I release the South and North" (the final quarters pinch out their candles)
"With Blesses Be I send them forth
Earth and Water, Air and Fire
Celebrated our desire.
