Welcome. Today we celebrate Ostara, the Spring Equinox. The equinox is a time of balance. A time where the light of day and the dark of night are of equal length. A time when the ying and yang, male and female energies, dance together in a delicate balance. A time without the raw power of the solstice, but a time when the more subtle energies of life can be carefully molded to create and embrace change in ourselves, and thus bring it to the world around us. It is a time of endings, and as such, also a time of new beginnings and rebirth. It is a time of the clearing of old ways, habits and thinking. Of dealing with issues and cleansing ones soul of unnecessary burdens carried much too long. Of letting go and of being. It is also a time of rebirth and change. A time when the seeds conceived during the new year and planted at Imbolg have germinated into fresh life.

And now is the time for a Gardner's report. I would like each of us to step forward and say something about ourselves...our successes and our tears and whatever else you feel comfortable sharing.
