Starting Sunday, January 6th the S.T.A.R. non-fiction book club begins monthly at 12:00 noon. Each month a group member will be designated to choose a "Book of the Month" for the group to read. After the group has been given time to read the chosen book, we will then meet the following month to discuss the book, and select a new read.

The S.T.A.R Grove will participate once a month volunteering at the local community Soup Kitchen for the needy in Albany. In addition Siryn is working with the local Women's Shelter as a volunteer in conjunction with S.T.A.R. Grove fundraisers to assist in helping displaced and battered women.
