Lana Lightfoot
Raised in the spiritual arms of her Cherokee grandparents, Lana learned the beginning
process of crystal healing from her grandmother. She also was introduced to the spirits of her
ancestors and given insight into their world and the importance of prayer in a good way. Lana
finished her training in crystal healing with Grandfather Yellow Horse Man and has worked with
Grandfather in giving workshops. Lana now gives her own workshops on crystal healing and
does crystal healing on an appointment only, private basis. Lana holds the altar for the Spirit
Healing Dance. She fulfilled this commitment by holding
seven dances over seven years.
She holds the Sacred Water Ceremonial altar.
She holds the Star Lodge Altar.
She has completed her commitment to be a water pourer for the people.
She holds the Coming of Womanhood Ceremonial altar.
Lana is also a member of the Sisterhood of Dancing Shields.
She also is a Reiki Master.
Grandmother Grace Black Elk (Lakota), Grandmother Bernice (Lakota), Aunt Rita Little boy
(Lakota), Susanna Kills Back (Lakota), Grandmother Bertha Burch (Ute), Brooke Medicine
Eagle (Cheyenne), Amylee ( Iroquois) are some of the Elders she has studied ceremony with,
cried with and held sacred space with.
At Earthdance, in addition to facilitating the opening Canupa ritual on Friday night, Lana
will bring forth the mystery and history of the Native purification (sweat) lodge ceremony as
taught to her and her husband by their Native American Elders, as they went through an intense
seven year training process, that ended with both dancing the Sun Dance on Pine ridge Indian
Reservation in South Dakota in 1999. You will learn about the signs and symbols inside and
outside the lodge. You will learn about the fire, the altar, and why the lodge is built the way it is.
You will be taught the proper protocols to use inside and outside the lodge. You will be taught to
ask the right questions and to recognize the things that show you that the lodge you go in is safe.
The only things you need to bring to the class are an open mind and no expectations.
Linda Kerr
Linda has been a Pagan since 1987, and a High Priestess of the Faerie Faith since 1992. She has been organizing Pagan festivals since 1991, starting with Moondance, and to date has run nearly 40 separate festivals. She founded Church of the Spiral Tree in 1997, seeing a need for a locally-run Pagan church that was not only incorporated, but also recognized by the IRS as a tax- exempt, religious organization. She then created Sacred Grove Academy in 1999 in response to a need for a homeschool cover school for Pagans in Alabama; the school currently has over 100 students. Linda created, edited, wrote for, and published a nationally-distributed Pagan magazine in the mid-90s, called The Hazel Nut; back issues can be found on- line. Currently Linda homeschools her daughter and works for both CST and DreamScapes, a store in Auburn, AL owned by Stephen Bradford.
Linda is acting as the organizer for Earthdance, and will be teaching a class on Bach Flower Remedies, which she has studied and practiced since 1987.
Lady Ishara
Ishara is a formally initiated, trained, and ordained Priestess-Heirophant of the Fellowship of Isis, and is the preceptor of The Lyceum of the Sacred Spiral. A native of Northwest FL, she has been consciously Pagan since 1988. She has been an active participant and leader in the Gulf Coast regional Pagan community for 23 years. Her years of personal and formal study combined with her many unique mystical and mundane experiences are the foundation for her particular style of 'old school' spiritual wisdom. As a life-long Seeker, she recognizes the shared commonalities and the value of all spiritual traditions. Though she is highly eclectic, she is most strongly drawn to BTW and Old Craft Traditions. She is a spiritual mentor/guide, an intuitive counselor, trance oracle, legal minister, crafting artist, musician, singer, song writer, and a lifelong student with a plethora of interests including, but not limited to: gardening, herbology, homeopathy, astrology, vegetarianism, archaeology, mythology, history/herstory, theology, art, music, animals, sustainable living, and ecology. She is currently working on musical projects with her partner and Priest, SkyDragon, and is writing a book about priestcraft. "We all bring our gifts to the greater circle, whatever they may be..."
At Earthdance, Lady Ishara will be facilitating a chanting class on Friday evening.

His songs are folk and filk ballads, with a little bit of rock 'n roll and blues. He has even , on occasion, been known to be serious. Remember, it isn't *really* a folk song unless everybody dies.
At Earthdance, Robin will be performing music at 6:30 on Saturday.

Rowan, who is 15, has been taking Irish dance lessons since she was at least 6. She also trains horses and teaches horseback riding lessons. She was raised a Pagan, and has been "out" since Kindergarten.
